About Joseph Raso
Hailing from Sydney, Australia, Joseph Raso is a tenor who has recently performed operas in Sydney and in Sicily, Italy. He has performed a variety of roles for the Sydney Conservatorium, and the Mediterranean Opera Studio and Festival throughout 2018-2019 - these roles include;
Prunier, La Rondine, La Podesta, La finta giardiniera, Wedgwood Teapot, L'enfant et les sortlileges, Nemorino, L'elisir d'amor, Don Ottavio, Don Giovanni, Prince Yamadori, Madam Butterfly, Lacouf, Les mamelles de Tiresias.
Joseph has worked with renowned vocal coaches from Sydney and abroad including Jack Li Vigni, (voice instructor at the Royal Opera House Convent Garden's Jette Parker Young Artist Program) Salvatore Fisichella and Gino Quillico and mentor, Barry Ryan OAM. Joseph has also sung under the baton of Dr. Stephen Mould, Leonardo Catalanotto, and Jonathan Santagada.
Joseph's education includes completing a Master of Opera Voice 2019, Sydney Conservatorium.
